Es el peso de mi coche de rally sobre la báscula, un dato muy importante en competición.
En los rallyes, el reglamento técnico de la FIA establece un peso mínimo que depende de la clase o categoría en la que compite el coche. Este peso está definido en la ficha de homologación FIA del vehículo y varía según si el coche es, por ejemplo, un Rally4, Rally2, Rally3, etc.
Este peso mínimo incluye el coche tal y como termina el tramo, con todos los líquidos necesarios para funcionar (aceite, refrigerante, gasolina residual), pero sin el piloto ni el copiloto dentro. Sin embargo, en algunas categorías se utiliza el "peso mínimo con tripulación", es decir, se suma el peso del piloto y copiloto (normalmente 75 kg por persona según FIA) y se exige un mínimo total con ellos dentro o contabilizados.
La razón por la que se controla tan estrictamente es para asegurar la igualdad de condiciones: un coche por debajo del mínimo puede ser descalificado, porque tendría ventaja en aceleración, frenada y desgaste.
