Yesterday was celebration of the local New Year, people celebrate 1946 year here ๐ After the celebration, Silence Day starts. Itโs a day when nobody works, including the airport, no cars and scooters outside, no people. In some areas they even turn off the electricity, no lights in the houses are allowed. Only sounds of the nature ๐ฟ People here believe that in this day bad spirits come to the island and if they donโt see anyone โ they leave. Itโs a beautiful day and a nice tradition, I really do enjoy the silence!โค๏ธ
