Check out me & the birthday girl (to my left) @jennacitrus! Posing like the sex goddesses we are along with our friend @ravynrose666! So to expand on what happened last night, the first club said they had way too many night girls. Very sternly so I assumed it was a comment on my appearance & I almost had a breakdown. Then I went to the next place which is owned by the same company & they were totally going to audition me but said they couldn’t without an SSC, which I lost back when I was using it along with my temporary DL that I had to get after losing mine in the Charlotte airport. Even though I had my birth certificate AND my freaking passport with me. I called a friend who dances here after that & she did some calling around for me & found out it is a state law that to work in *ANY* club you have to have a SSC. Which is insane! Anywhere else I’ve worked (& that’s been in multiple states) all you need is a DL & any other form of government ID. So birth certificates & passports count just fine. So I’m fucked. The second place said they would even take the receipt of order for a SSC so I’m going try to go to the Social Security Administration today, but I ran up over $100 in Ubers in last night & just to go to this office & back it’s going to cost me $40-50!!! I really needed that dance job to make it here!!! So I’m very frustrated rn, to say the least. I have classes Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights that go later than the latest times to go in & audition at any clubs. And most clubs won’t let you audition on Weekends. So the soonest day I could go try to do auditions again is next Monday as my weeks are very regimented with classes & Easter is on Sunday. Ugh! In kinda better news, a girl from the first club contacted me after seeing my post on FB & said that they really are over ran with night girls right now even on week nights, as I just wanna work Mondays & some random Fridays & Sundays. So it may not have been about how I looked at all. Apparently they girls begged them not to hire any more night girls for awhile. So my breakdown last night was totally unnecessary. At least for that club… 😆
